Forest Of Dean could fire at Newbury

John Gosden could re-route ante-post bet365 Cambridgeshire favourite Forest Of Dean into Newbury on Saturday for the Dubai Duty Free Handicap.

The Newmarket handler is considering a change of plan then he had been hiked 10lb because of his triumph at York last moment for the son of Iffraaj, who’s the overall 6-1 favorite for the Cambridgeshire.
Gosden has not ruled out the prospect of running the in the races Having a last decision still to be created.
He explained:”They’ve lumped him up 10lb and he’s now got to try and win a Cambridgeshire off 110.
“He’s entered at Newbury and we will take a look at it rather than necessarily coming here (Newmarket).
“The handicapper, I believe, has reacted. I think we beat on a good deal of horses in York.
“I have the option of trying to run off him an older mark instead of the mark he’s on. I am doing my due diligence to consider that.
“I really don’t think he is a Pipedreamer (2007 winner) or anything like that, but he’s a horse that is progressive along with the handicapper thinks accordingly.
“Perhaps we may conduct him in the two – you will never know, it’s the close of the year so we could roll the dice”
In case Gosden, who will seek a fifth success from the Cambridgeshire, pick against conducting Forest Of Dean in Newmarket, he has identified two replacements.
He added:”We might have to go to plan B and find another.
“We might have to rely upon a darker personality to come out of the woodwork. Lord North and Star Of Bengal might suddenly come in the limelight.”
Gosden has Newmarket in head for 2 inmates, led by Twist’N’ Shake, who was beaten in France last season but is in the mix for the Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes on October 5.
He explained:”It didn’t quite go at Deauville and the track got very rough and she was not too pleased with it. She won before that in excellent style.
“We will take a look at that (Sun Chariot) because it is a lovely race.”
Wasaayef gets the Fillies’ Mile on October 11 as a possible goal, but she is set to get a course-and-distance prep operate on Saturday.
Gosden added:”She runs here on Saturday. She got her second start and if she goes to the Fillies’ Mile, she would have experienced three races.
“It’s very important they have expertise to get a race like that. Because it is run over the Guineas distance and track, it has come to be an accurate line for the Guineas as the Dewhurst has”
Gosden spoke at the launch of The Newmarket Gold Season, an initiative aimed at fostering the profile of this town’s racing, breeding and sales actions during the busy fall season.
Newmarket phases racing across four weekends – kicking off before going in the Dubai Future Champions Festival, Sun Chariot Day and the Cambridgeshire Meeting this coming Saturday and Sunday.
The Newmarket Gold Season embraces also the entire racing and breeding industry, although not only the racing on the Rowley Mile , culminating with the conclusion of the October Yearling Sale.
Gosden included:”There is this awesome racing every weekend – I am really excited about this Middle Park and also the Dewhurst – then naturally it rolls out of Book 1 to Book two.
“There is an awful lot of energy and this is a very healthy initiative since people can see the utter gravitas which Newmarket can consume, at the time of year.”
