Germany vs Argentina
7:45pm Wednesday October
Signal Iduna Park
Argentina made a wonderful second-half comeback to draw 2-2 at Signal Iduna Park with Germany in an international friendly.
To utilize the soccer cliche, this is a match of two halves, as Germany raced to a two-goal lead. Serge Gnabry (15) continued his latest form using all the opener Kai Havertz (21) scored his first global goal to give Germany a seemingly comfortable 2-0 lead.
However, with tons of rapid turnovers in the stage, Germany seemed to run out of puff in the second half since Argentina fought back. Lionel Scaloni produced some inspired substitutions since Lucas Alario (61) pulled one back to the visitors long after arrival before Lucas Ocampos (85) levelled things up late on.
Germany will likely soon be back in Qualifiers activity on Sunday, travelling to Estonia live on Sky Sports, although Argentina play with another friendly against Ecuador in Elche, Spain.
