Hull’s Angus MacDonald overwhelmed by support after cancer diagnosis

Hull defender Angus MacDonald has the”football family” because of their aid after he had been diagnosed with the early stages of bowel cancer earlier this season.
The 26-year-old had recently returned was sidelined for almost a year due to deep vein thrombosis.
MacDonald revealed he will undergo a surgery at a fortnight.
He explained in 2 messages in his Twitter accounts:”Thank you Soccer family – I’m totally overwhelmed by the support which comes my way this past week.
“Literally thousands of messages which I am taking time reading through now (Thursday) and It’s given me a massive boost.
“I have a few weeks until my very first op, therefore I’m likely to enjoy some time travelling and soak up as much enjoyment as I possibly could.”
MacDonald, who appeared at April 2018 for Hull, signed to an undisclosed fee in January 2018 from Barnsley, but he’s made only 13 league appearances for your Sky Bet Championship club.
The Winchester-born centre-half progressed through Reading’s academy and had loan spells at Salisbury, Basingstoke, Torquay (twice) and AFC Wimbledon.
Reading in 2013 released macDonald and had stints in Torquay and Salisbury, before he was signed by Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
