Hull’s Angus MacDonald overwhelmed by support after cancer diagnosis

Hull defender Angus MacDonald has thanked the”football family” because of their support after he had been diagnosed with the early stages of bowel cancer earlier this month.
The 26-year-old had lately returned was sidelined for almost a year because of deep vein thrombosis.
MacDonald revealed until which time he plans to go travelling, he’ll undergo an operation in a fortnight.
He said in 2 messages in his Twitter accounts:”Thank you Football family – I’m absolutely overwhelmed with the support which comes my way last week.
“literally tens of thousands of messages which I’m taking time reading through now (Thursday) and It’s given me a massive boost.
“I’ve got a couple of weeks until my very first op, so I’m likely to enjoy some time travelling and soak up as much positivity as I possibly can.”
MacDonald, who appeared for Hull signed by Barnsley to an undisclosed commission in January 2018, however he has made just 13 league appearances for your Sky Bet Championship club.
The Winchester-born centre-half improved through Reading’s academy and had loan spells at Salisbury, Basingstoke, Torquay (twice) and AFC Wimbledon.
Studying in 2013 released macDonald and had stints at Torquay and Salisbury, before he was signed by Barnsley for an undisclosed commission.
