Watford director Javi Gracia has abandoned his article that the Premier League club have declared.
The Spaniard, whose coaching team have abandoned Vicarage Road, had been in charge since January 2018 – which makes him the Hornets boss to endure longer than one season since 2013.
A club statement said there would be an”impending appointment of a new training group”.
Watford are the bottom of the Premier League table with one point.
Gracia directed the club Wembley last year, in which they lost 6-0 to Manchester City in the FA Cup final win in a century, as well as 11th place in the Premier League.
However three defeats in their opening four league games saw him lose his job at an announcement made by the club during the first half of England’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Bulgaria.
Hornets chairman Scott Duxbury said:”Javi has represented Watford with terrific dignity and will always be deserving of their fullest respect because of his accomplishments.”
