Ole Miss has been a perfect 4-0 in last season delivered a record in SEC play. The Rebels will be looking to improve upon their recent history, having won six or fewer matches within the last 3 years, and hoping to reinforce past year’s defense that surrendered an average of 36.2 points per match.
Their offense was the lone bright spot, averaging 33.9 points and above 510 total yards per game but that should be taken in context, as they racked up a whopping 76 and 70 points from lightly regarded Southern Illinois and UL Monroe, respectively.
Memphis continues to be a winning soccer program under the view of head coach Mike Norvell , notching at least eight wins within the past five seasons. The Tigers needed a high-octane crime in 2018, averaging 42.9 points per game that ranked them in most of D-1 soccer.
Luckily for Tigers’ lovers, Memphis will observe the return of quarterback Brady White, who handed with nine selections on the year 3296 yards and 26 touchdowns. Furthermore, White will view three to four of the best targets back into uniform, such as No. 1 receiver Damonte Coxie.
At the backfield, last season’s starting tailback, Darrell Henderson, has been plucked by the Rams in the next round of April’s NFL draft, but his first backup Patrick Taylor Jr. will assume the starting role after breaking the plane of the end zone on 18 events, two of which were getting touchdowns, in 2018.
Although the Tigers’ defense wasn’t as impressive as its offense, they will be returning eight starters and aspire to improve upon their own 31.5 PPG ordinary.
