The Cleveland Browns begin their most Likely season in over a decade from the Tennessee Titans in FirstEnergy Stadium.
Expectations are high in Cleveland, as some pundits expect the Browns to be the team. I am not getting caught up in the hype. Baker Mayfield must show me a thing for at least one season.
That’s not a massive enough sample size for my liking to crown him. Tape is outside him defenses are probably going to be better prepared the second season around. Everybody had large expectations for Vince Young and he only went from that point. That’s not to mention the other or one thing. Baker could develop into a Pro Bowler, but he has to become a bust.
It’s crucial not to get involved what respects to exactly that which the press is saying. Having said all thatwe could just go off what he did was rather impressive and what Baker did in his rookie year. He’ll be seeking to prevent a sophomore slump after completing with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions on 63.8% completions. His season included 131 rushing yards. In his second season, expectations are going to be greater.
The Browns traded for Odell Beckham at March to provide Mayfield an target to pass to. Beckham wanted from New York and he got his wish with a bargain to Cleveland. I really don’t know if Cleveland was his No. 1 destination, but he goes into a brand new with exciting possibility and a quarterback who is going to zing it across the area.
Be aware that Beckham was dealing with a hip injury is not likely to be 100 percent here in Week 1. Reports have indicated that his hip is worse than previously believed, in order that strikes against the Titans. Head below for our complimentary Titans vs. Browns Week 1 pick.

There is going to be a ton of pressure on the Titans to execute this season. Nearly all of that pressure will be pressed on quarterback Marcus Mariota. He’s at a stage in his career at which he has to excel. Mariota was selected second overall by the Titans therefore it is time is going to be coming for his job.
The Titans signed Ryan Tannehill to drive on Mariota and offer him some competition. If Mariota struggles, we should expect to see Tannehill receive snaps. And it’s not like Mariota was terribly horrible, he just hasn’t lived up to his choice in the draft at No. 2.
Mariota passed for 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns in 2018. In addition, he rushed for 357 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Not what you expect from a top-rated possibility out of college. With Tannehill about the roster, Mariota has any added motivation to perform.
Corey Davis should give the offense a lift. Heading into his third time. Big things are expected after 891 yards and 4 touchdowns. Delanie Walker and he should unite to give the Browns’ shield some tough looks in this competition.
The yield of a Walker will benefit Mariota . Everybody will talk about Beckham and Baker Mayfield but Walker and Davis may steal a few of the limelight. Derrick Henry isn’t a fun man to try and tackle, either. He dropped 146.5 metres on the floor in the last four weeks of the regular season.
Beckham is coping with a hip injury, as we mentioned earlier. It has been confirmed that he won’t be anything close to 100%. He missed all of training camp and didn’t play a down out of creating a rhythm in the preseason, which prevented Beckham and Baker. He’s going to be more here. Regardless of the injury, Tennessee should honor Beckham’s existence.
We are going to see how this season goes, but I’m none of these people signing the desire of the Browns. They’ve various weapons. That being said, it might take time for this unit to acquire some chemistry playing together. Mariota has had more than enough time with his team.
The line here of 6 will be put with perception in mind. Cleveland have been the most highly commended team in the offseason, so of course, money will put in about the Browns. 6 looks like a bit too much to me personally in a game which should be a close competition. Henry chewing up yardage and keeping drives heading for the Titans keeps this in 6 things on Sunday.
